Avery’s Newborn Pictures

To my sweet Avery,

You have been a part of our family for 4 weeks now and it feels just right! You have made us a family of four and we couldn’t be happier.

When we found out we were having a boy, I have to admit, I was nervous, I only had experience with your big sister and growing up I only had sisters, what was I going to do with a boy? But now that you’re here you have completely taken my heart and I’m so excited about all things boy!

Because your big sister looks so much like Daddy we expected you to be the same, but you surprised us! I’m so proud to show you off and love when people comment how you look like your Mama!

Speaking of your big sister, she loves you so much! Adelyn loves to give you kisses, bring you your blanket, and crawl up to see you in your crib! When she comes in the door she used to run to me saying “MOMMY!”, but I’m old news, now its “BABY BROTHER”!

I’m so excited  to watch your relationship grow & develop over the years!

You are blessed with an amazing Daddy! He is a strong man, has a kind heart, and is super funny!

He loves you so much and is so excited to have his little boy! Your Daddy is a sports fanatic! He will teach you everything you want to know about any sport.

And the Iowa Hawkeyes will forever be a part of your life! We cannot wait to take you to your first Hawkeye football game! Maybe you’ll play for them someday!

You are my handsome little man! All of your sweet little features make you, you! I love your chubby cheeks and those beautiful, dark blue eyes!

Throughout my pregnancy I prayed for a happy, healthy baby and I’m so thankful God blessed us with a completely healthy, big baby boy! Now my prayers are that you will grow up to be a man of God.

I love being able to say that I have a son! We have had our share of bonding moments over the past four weeks. You enjoy getting up at night to hang out with your Mommy! It took a few days, but now I’ve learned to enjoy these late night/early morning times together. I know all too well that you won’t be little long and I want to soak up every moment with you, my sweet Avery!

Avery you have made us a family of four. Your Daddy & I feel completely blessed that God has entrusted us with your precious life. We love you more than words can describe and are so excited to have you, our baby boy, in our family!
