Lost Island

We spent the day with our friends Sara & Vahn at their family's place on Lost Island. It was bitter sweet to be there. My family had a place there for 10+ years while I was growing up. And as you can see in the picutres below it is now for sale again!! :) Must be fate! It was a fun day with them!

Tawny & Clayton's Wedding

Some good friends of ours got married August 25th! It was a great day & we got to see a lot of people we hadn't seen in a LONG time!!

So this is the picture when they were leaving the wedding! My pictures from the actual ceremony didn't turn out too well. :(

Iowa State Fair

Last minute, we decided to go to the state fair. Kyle had never been & he has lived in Iowa his ENTIRE life! We had a good time, it was SUPER hot though!

It just happened to be that the day we were at the fair my cousin was singing on one of the stages! It was great to see her, she is a great singer & very beautiful!

You can get pretty much anything either deep fried or on a stick at the fair!

So here is Kyle eating his "Deep Friend Candy Bar (MilkyWay)! It was actually pretty good!

Abby!

While on vacation we got a puppy!!! We named her Abby. She is a Pom-A-Poo!! She is tons of fun & super cute!

Vacation!

Kyle & I spent last week vacationing at Leech Lake in Minnesota with his Grandparents, Aunt, Unlce, and cousin. We spent our days fisihing, skiing, relaxing, did a little shopping, and just tried to enjoy our time off as much as possible! Hope everyone had a great week & you enjoy our pics! Oh by the way I caught the most fish.....6!

Wendi's Surprise Going Away Party

My sister Mindi & I, along with the help of our husbands, threw our youngest sister Wendi a suprise going away party & it was a huge success! She didnt' have any idea & was very surprised! She is transferred to Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida & she will be playing volleyball. We are definately going to miss her a lot, but it does give us one more reason to visit Florida!
