The last weekend in Febuary we had a bridal shower & bachelorette party for one of my best friends, Sara! She had a SUPER great turnout at her shower, got lots of gifts, and we had a good time! We spent the afternoon getting fitted for our dresses and just hanging out. Then that night we had a bachelorette party for her. It was in her parents' garage, we had food, drinks, and tons of fun!!

Our financaid aid and admissions group at Iowa Central put a lip sync together for this year's event. It was a last minute deal, but I think it turned out really good. We didn't place, but we have had many, many comments about how much everyone enjoyed our piece! We did "ebay" by Weird Al (it goes to the tune of "I Want it That Way" by the Backstreet Boys). So the five of us in Financial Aid were the backstreet boys. I wasn't excited about it in the beginning, but as we got things together I enjoyed it more and more and I think we are going to do one next year!
